Modern Warfare 2 pretty impressive!

I was able to play Modern Warfare 2 on my computer for about 30 minutes before my computer overheated and shut down. Apparently, the fan on my graphics card got old and tired of working. Needless to say, it took me about 2 days to get everything up and running at full speed again. Turns out one of my RAM chips came slightly out of scoket as I was troubleshooting, which caused even more problems.

Finally got it up and running at much cooler temperatures (thank God for fans and water) and the game is awesome!

Call of Duty 4 had awesome weapons, amazing gameplay, amazing graphics, and was the best game I had ever played... ever! It was a culmination of years of computer graphic genius coming together into a perfect, awesome storm!

Call of Duty 5 had slightly improved gameplay, but older boring weapons on older boring maps. But they still managed to improve the gameplay experience, which I appreciated. It was a fun game, except for all the crazy server issues.

Call of Duty 6 (Modern Warfare 2) combines amazing graphics, amazingly improved gameplay, as well as new age modern weapons. The ranking, perks, and skills combinations are improved and are much deeper. You have all kinds of perks and ranks to achieve and it is a very deep, and fun game to play. You always feel like you are working towards the next level, the next rank, the next perk. Lot's of fun!

Both 4 and 5 suffered from people being able to host and create their own games and a poor way of finding games to play (especially 5). You had to search through thousands of servers for the exact game and rules you wanted to play. It was hard to do. And if you ended up on some wierd guy's server, he could ban you or kick you out if you don't follow the rules. This system allowed for all kinds of isoteric rules, like no grenades, no air strikes, must aim down sights, can't use camoflouge, no running, and all kinds of bizarre rules. It was bad. Further, in COD5, server hosts could give you thousands and thousands of experience points for one kill... and it was easy to level up to the highest levels within minutes. That was silly.

Infinity Ward has reeled that back and now runs the servers themselves. Thank God! The system now is exactly like the Xbox's Halo game-matching system. You choose the type of game you want to play, and it matches you up with 11 others that want to play that same type of game. No more 60 versus 60 battles. This is cleaner, better, and doesn't allow for crazy rules, or people booting you or banning you, and is much better for the future of online gaming! And keeps the cheaters out as well!

Congratulations to Infinity Ward on this highly improved, awesome game!
